Position Title: Village First Aid Volunteer

Vacancies: 1 Male & 1 Female in Each Village (PAN India)

Work Location: All villages across India

Educational Qualification: Minimum 10th pass. Candidates with health/paramedical/nursing qualifications will be preferred.

Role Overview:

Village First Aid Volunteers will act as frontline community health supporters trained to provide basic first aid, emergency response, and awareness activities at the grassroots level. They will bridge the gap between villagers and formal healthcare, ensuring timely intervention and preparedness for emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate basic first aid support for minor injuries, burns, cuts, fractures, and emergencies until professional medical help is available.
• Conduct awareness campaigns and demonstrations on first aid, hygiene, sanitation, and accident prevention.
• Support schools, community centers, and SHGs (Self-Help Groups) with life-saving training.
• Assist in disaster preparedness and emergency relief at the village level.
• Maintain records of beneficiaries, incidents, and activities.
• Act as a liaison between villagers and health centers for timely referrals.
• Mobilize youth and volunteers to build a first aid ready community.

• Ability to work independently and report to block-level educators.
• Basic literacy in record-keeping and communication.
