About the Role

St John Ambulance International Association (SJAIA) is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of District First Aid Educator. In this position, you will serve as the key representative of your district, promoting life-saving skills through structured first aid training programs. You will engage with schools, communities, and organizations to expand awareness of first aid, emergency response, and safety preparedness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct first aid training programs within the district for schools, organizations, and community groups.
  • Assist in building a network of trainers and volunteers at the local level.
  • Organize awareness drives and emergency preparedness campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate training records and submit reports at district level.
  • Support state-level educators and collaborate with national initiatives.
  • Encourage adoption of first aid skills in daily community life.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline or above (nursing qualifications such as ANM, GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, M.Sc. Nursing preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passion for community welfare, teaching, or healthcare.
  • Ability to manage training sessions independently within the district.
  • Willingness to travel within the district.
  • Prior teaching, nursing, or healthcare experience will be an added advantage.
