Job Description – Ambulance Driver

Vacancies: 1 Male & 1 Female per District (PAN India)

Work Location: All districts across India

Salary: ₹20,000 per month (fixed)

Educational Qualification: Minimum 10th pass. Valid Driving License (LMV/Heavy Vehicle as per ambulance type) is mandatory. Training in first aid or basic life support preferred.

Role Overview:

Ambulance Drivers are vital frontline responders ensuring safe, timely, and efficient transportation of patients in emergencies. They will operate ambulances across districts, supporting medical staff, and ensuring adherence to safety, hygiene, and response protocols.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive ambulances responsibly and ensure safe transport of patients during emergencies.
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls and follow the shortest, safest routes.
  • Ensure ambulance is clean, sanitized, and well-maintained at all times.
  • Perform daily checks of fuel, brakes, lights, sirens, and medical equipment.
  • Assist paramedics/health workers in lifting and shifting patients.
  • Maintain logbooks, trip sheets, and service records.
  • Uphold patient dignity, confidentiality, and compassionate service.
  • Be available for emergency duties, disaster response, and health drives.

Desired Skills & Competencies:

  • Valid LMV/Heavy Vehicle driving license with a clean record.
  • Knowledge of road safety rules and defensive driving techniques.
  • Ability to remain calm in high-pressure emergency situations.
  • Basic first aid knowledge and willingness to undergo medical response training.
  • Good communication skills and teamwork spirit.

  • Coverage: 1 Male & 1 Female per District (PAN India)
  • Salary: ₹20,000/month (as per organization norms)
  • Growth Path: Eligible for advanced driver training, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) roles, or supervisory positions
